    Hey team how to update my woodmart theme with latest version update please guide me. Also updating my theme can damage my website or it is safe…..?

    I have main theme installed and child theme is active.

    Hi hardik119955,

    I highly recommend you to take a complete backup of your site before proceeding.

    Or create a devsite – also called a Staging platform where you can test issues, enable/disable features/plugins thus such changes will affect the main site. The below article will help you to create it:

    I have them 7.3.4 installed and latest update is 7.4.3 available, if I’m not wrong…?

    Is there any huge difference between both of this does in general it will affect my entire website after updating it….?

    I’m running child them on my website.

    Hi hardik119955,

    If you are running Child theme and Custom CSS or PHP codes are placed in it, basically, it won’t lose.

    But, as I answered above I highly recommend you to take a complete backup of your site before proceeding.

    and update on devsite first.

    What is this option means…? (Development domain) do I need to check this too….?

    Do I need to check both option to activate theme….? Check my screenshot

    Hi hardik119955,

    The license can be activated for 2 websites: production and staging, for the staging website you need to select the Development domain: https://take.ms/Xj0rB and then activate it.

    Hi hardik119955,

    Thanks for your patience.

    You don’t need to check this box if you are going to activate the license on main production site.

    Do I need yo opt this option while activating main production site (Live site)…..? Also is this mandatory to opt.
