New Page Redirected

    Hi there,

    I’ve spent ages making this page of content for my site called ‘/pelmets’ and have swapped it’s URL with another page’s URL ‘/pelmet-range’.

    I have the Yoast premium plugin so the pages look to be redirected fine. I’ve also rearranged the menu and the parent/child information properly. But when I go to click on my ‘/pelmets/’ page, it redirects me to the ‘/pelmet-range’ page (the old owner of the URL ‘/pelmets’.

    I can’t work out why it does this as I’ve gone through the menu layouts and the urls and the log of redirected pages in yoast but all seems fine…. So i can’t work out why it keeps doing this..

    Any help would be greatly appreciated as always!

    Hello,

    If you test this issue on any default theme you will see that theme does not influence that, so we can hardly settle this issue.

    At the same time please check your redirections settings: if you have set “pelmets” to be redirected to “pelmet-range”, then everything works correctly: when you click “pelmets” you get to “pelmet-range”. The best way out is just to reset this redirection setting and try to do it again correctly.
