excent.businessParticipantHello,
I noticed that it is not possible to do product purchasing process in the website.
While looking for the reasons, I noticed that the Checkout page and Cart page have disappeared. (Not exist)
The Wishlist page is also not working.
In the hidden window, I send the access data to the admin. panel so you can check.
Unfortunately, I don’t have any comments the pages disappeared during updates or using backup copies, but the fact is a fact.
I don’t even know since when, but noticed earlier this week.
What could be the the best solutions now and how to solve this situation or at least restore the Checkout and Cart pages that are in the WoodMart theme default version.
Please your support.
Thanks in advance & best regards.April 11, 2024 at 5:40 pm #556617
Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
Please navigate to WooCommerce -> Settings -> Advanced and define those pages here: https://prnt.sc/uwPA0BsbTTd9
Then recheck the issue.

excent.businessParticipantHello,
Thanks for suggestion
It’s a step forward but unfortunately not yet resolved.
If I navigate Dashboard > All pages I can see 14 pages.
Cart and Checkout pages are not found among these 14 pages. I don’t know when and why, but these pages have disappeared at some point.
Due to this reason I haven’t pages what I could define as you suggested.
I found the layouts by following Dashboard -> Layouts->Add New Post->Cart or Checkout.
My apologies and to be honest I can’t understand how to create real pages Cart and Checkout by using predefined layouts.
Please further suggestions.
Thanks in advance & best regardsApril 15, 2024 at 11:35 am #557249
Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
I apologize for the delay.
May I create new Cart/Checkout pages on your side?
Thank you for your patience.
Kind Regards

excent.businessParticipantHello,
Thank you for answer and kind offer.
Honestly, to my surprise, today I found a solution how to create a Cart and Checkout using WoodMart theme layouts. I really hope I did everything right.
I just can’t understand why I can’t a little bit customize Cart and Checkout pages using Elementor. Is it related to the WoodMart theme developer settings so that the layouts are not changed?
What I think is still missing when following the purchase procedure Cart -> Checkout is one more page. This page should be ->Thank you for your purchasing.
If you could check functioning (is everything correct) with the restored Cart and Checkout and could help me create and add -> Thank you for purchasing page, I would be really thankful.
Thanks in advance & best regardsApril 16, 2024 at 9:51 am #557554
Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
Our Layouts work when the default shortcodes ([woocommerce_cart], [woocommerce_checkout]) are defined for those pages. In your case, I do not see them – https://prnt.sc/4ew-C9gOXnF7, https://prnt.sc/npHLt4S25ZBg therefore you need to define WooCommerce shortcodes for those pages first: https://woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-shortcodes/
Also, I suggest you update the theme to the latest version.
Kind Regards

excent.businessParticipantHello,
Thank you for your support and advice.
I have implemented your suggestions:
-Short code [woocommerce_cart], [woocommerce_checkout] has been defined.
-Theme update has also been done
How can I see purchasing process step by step |Chart-> Checkout page-> Thanks for purchasing | looks good now.
But unfortunately, not everything looks great.
1. Layout of Login/Register looks strange and something is wrong.
In the demo version of the Woodmart theme within registration forms are three windows/fields. (Picture attached)
*Username
*Email address
*Password
But the ExcentShop page has only one window for the email address and so not possible to create account. (picture attached)2.After the theme update, the question marks layout at product attributes look strange again (question mark location). Picture attached. Before updating the theme a backup copy is created, but it doesn’t solve the issue, because at the next update will be the same again.
Please your support.

Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
1. Login page:
-Define the dark color for the buttons here – https://prnt.sc/2rDXg6fRGzBB
– In WooCommerce -> Settings -> Accounts & Privacy -> disable these options: https://prnt.sc/IDH3X7R3Oy8z2. Could you please send some screenshots of how it was before the update?
Kind Regards

Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
Understood, for now, I see that you have the old version of the theme, so do you have any staging site with the latest update so I can look closer at that issue?
Kind Regards

excent.businessParticipantHello,
You are right and at the time you looked at the website I had installed a backup copy from 16.04.2024.
Currently, all updates are done and the latest generation of WoodMart is active. Now I think you will be able to see the strange layout of the question marks.
With the backup copies, I tried to solve other problem that I noticed with the login into account.
Now each customer can create an account by entering username, email and password. Thank you, it’s resolved
But logging out of the user account and entering again with already registered username or email and password, logging into the account fails.
And here is another issue that needs to be solved. Please your assistance.
I don’t know at when, but I have the feeling that everything related to the purchase procedure has collapsed at some point.April 22, 2024 at 9:33 am #559313
Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
Checked again and on my side, it looks nice – https://prnt.sc/OLxCvIORi3C2, if you have another appearance you need to clear the browser cache.
As for that log in and out issue, please check how it works with some default WordPress themes like TwentyTwenty or WooCommerce Storefront to understand whether it is our theme issue.
Kind Regards

excent.businessParticipantHello,
Thank you for your response.
I think screenshot what you sent is from desktop, but I talk about layout issue in mobile version.

Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
Try to add the code below into the “Mobile CSS” area in Theme Settings -> Custom CSS:
.single-product .woocommerce-product-attributes.shop_attributes th { flex: none; }
Clear the cache and recheck the issue.

excent.businessParticipantHello
Your suggestion has been implemented, but unfortunately but helped partially.
The layout of question marks looks better but not perfect
Screenshot attached.
The subcategory brandchamps layout collapsed.

Issues are only in mobile version. In laptop version everything’s look great.
Please future suggestions.
P.S. Log in and out issue has been solved. The reason was in WordPress security settings.Attachments:

Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
I have checked it on my side and it looks well, check these screenshots:
https://prnt.sc/t7wjEF4VQ0F5, https://prnt.sc/CT63ew6aO3mH
Please clear the mobile cache/ browser mobile cache and recheck the issue.

excent.businessParticipantHello,
I cleared all the browser history/cache as you suggested, but unfortunately nothing changed and the “breadcrumbs” layout looks like collapsed. But I probably understood why it looks different on my side and your side. In my phone settings of the font size is XL. By changing the font settings from XL to S makes the “breadcrumbs” layout look good. Screenshot attached.
So I think that is a reason why the same breadcrumbs layouts in our mobile screens look different. But it shouldn’t be like that and the type or size of the text should adjust. Please be so kind to check.
Regarding the layout of question marks at attributes, please look at the screenshot you sent at attribute in the last line. The question mark is in the wrong place. Please see the attached screenshot where I have indicated it in orange.
Thanks & best regardsAttachments:

Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
1. Clarify which device you use, because even on the iPhone SE it looks well – https://prnt.sc/C6lhhUk4jnKb
2. Please replace the old code with the below one:
body .shop_attributes :is(.wd-attr-name,.wd-attr-term) { display: inline; } body .shop_attributes .wd-hint { margin-left: 3px; } body .shop_attributes .wd-hint, body .shop_attributes .wd-attr-name-label { vertical-align: middle; }
Kind Regards

excent.businessParticipantHello,
1. I am using a Xiaomi 13 Lite. The device is on the Android platform. But I will also check how breadcrumbs text looks on my side on the iPhone 13 screen a little later.
2.Your suggestion has been released (old code changed), but it looks even worse. Unfortunately
Most of the attribute texts are not visible at all.
The place of the question mark is also not correct. Screenshots attached.
Please future solutions.

excent.businessParticipantHello,
Yes of course.

Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
1. Make either shorten attribute names and terms as much as possible so that they fit in 2 columns or limit the width of the attribute name using custom code so that it is never wider than 60% of the entire width of the row, and if it is wider, the text is moved to a new line.
.shop_attributes th { max-width: 60%; }
2. Make it so that the name of the attribute is above the term of the attribute on the mobile device. Under such conditions, more text will fit on a narrow screen:
@media (max-width: 768px) { body .shop_attributes tr { flex-direction: column; align-items: flex-start; row-gap: 5px; } body .shop_attributes td { text-align: left; } }
Paste the above code into the “Global Custom CSS” area.
As for the landscape for mobile (https://prnt.sc/kuV9dEWTF5HA), you need to activate that previous code for the landscape as well – https://prnt.sc/AsUaMoOQNSwt
Kind Regards

excent.businessParticipantHello,
My apologies for the a little bit late reply.
Code into the “Global Custom CSS” area has been pasted.
Layout of attributes of mobile phone screen in vertical position looks nice.
Mobile landscape layout didn’t change.
To be honest I don’t understand what do you mean with suggestion “activate that previous code” for mobile landscape.Attachments:

Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
This is a mobile landscape – https://prnt.sc/atPk5VlTiNAh, therefore if you want to apply a code for that (https://prnt.sc/atPk5VlTiNAh) you need to paste it into the “Custom CSS for mobile landscape” area – https://prnt.sc/ZFlvFTrdvg41

excent.businessParticipantHello,
Code has been pasted into the “Custom CSS for mobile landscape” as you had suggested.
All caches and browser history have been cleared.
But the question mark of the attribute “Maximal number of sections” is still not in the right place…..unfortunately.Attachments:
