Slow pages ( my account, shopping cart and wish list )

    Hello,

    I use stripe and it lows the pages down a lot. I also get google captcha cdn requests on sites, where normally no google captcha is used ( google recaptcha is disabled at complianz plugin ) and also unknown requests from (unpkg.com) . Everything else is well optimized and has google page speed scores over 90, but the pages cart, wish list and my account have scores nearly 40 for mobile. Do you have any solutions ?

    Hello,

    We can’t test these pages with the page speed tool while your website is under maintenance. However, as we know, these pages are excluded from cache, which is why they may have a lower score. You don’t usually need to worry about them because they shouldn’t be indexed by search engines, either. So just make sure that they are fast enough when you test them with a real device.

    I did deactivate the maintenance mode.

    Sometimes it is very slow, about 8 seconds.

    We tested your account page and it takes 3-4 seconds to load. It is rather slow and you need to do basic checks for plugins and server as described in our article here https://xtemos.com/wordpress-performance-optimization-the-ultimate-guide-in-2021/

    Thank you, I did it already before ( except of CDN ), because my results with page speed was much wors as without and Rocket CDN told me, that my google search results will be not good with them and that a CDN is better for static sites as for woocommerce. I increased instead my server RAM to 4096MB and its a little bit better now.

    The only thing I recognized is, that if I clear cache and load the site for the first time, it loads longer and there is longer a blanc site. After the first loading, everything works very fast.

    My account, shopping cart and wishlist is still slow with the recommended opimizations.

    You need to check your server and try to find a reason for such long loading. As we can see, it is not related to the theme itself. Try to consult with your server provider too.

    I contacted the server provider and they told me, that the server is very fast. Its the /?wc-ajax=get_refreshed_fragments ( 1.018ms ) that caused the long first page speed problem.

    I have also a question about the “Serve static content with an efficient caching policy” at google speed insights. There are many .js files from the theme that are set at 30 days and cant be changed through for example WP Rocket. Is there a possiblity to change them ? Or is it better not to change them?

    This particular request comes from WooCommerce plugin, not the theme. Also, it looks like they tested your website’s first page while you wrote that you have problems with your account, shopping cart and wishlist.

    Cache settings are not set by the theme itself. We can’t advise you on this matter. You can follow recommendations from the pagespeed report and change them accordingly on your website.

    I have found the problem. On my server, my domain without www. before ( I use the one with www. ) was also directed to the same database. I had to redirect the domain without www. ( not to the database ), but with a link to the main page. After that it also runs faster and the problem with the first call of the page has also disappeared. The other pages also run faster now.

    Can be closed, thanks for the help.
