slow webshop

    Hello! My webshop is very slow. I have compressed my images, and cleared cache. I only have 3 products now, but soon it will be more. how can I make woodmart theme faster? because if this will remain I have to switch themes. loading times are very slow.

    Our theme is optimized for speed and should not significantly slow down your website. However, it’s possible that your website’s performance is affected by the content you have added. For instance, the use of too many plugins, large unoptimized images, or other resources can slow down your website.

    Hello thanks for responding. I already optimised my images, and deleted unnecessary plugins. It did not better my speed. I also used wp rocket to optimise js&css files, but it messed up my website. It removed my slider. What are other things I can do? I lose customer because of the slowness.

    Hello, I have to add more context. I used GTMatrix to analyze my speed. Grade is D. performace 62%. structure 78% TBT145ms and CLS 0. biggest issue is the LCP which is 4.2s. I optimized all my images, but still the first image on the slider is 2.60MB which is a lot compared to the rest which is max 100KB. I used smush to optimese the images, but it did not work on the first image of the slider. How can I make this better?
