Touch Event Support for Main Menu

Is it possible to add touch event support for the menus for touch screen desktops? We have a kiosk that is a touch screen but the normal menu is not very useable as touching it is considered a click. I’ve worked around it by creating a user role and changing the header utilizing the mobile menu but the issue is now the site no longer utilizes the cache for the kiosk.

No worries and sounds good! It’s a bit a niche issue and my work around is okay. Losing out on the speed of pulling from our cache is noticeable.

Please confirm me back that you want to add Touch event to menu in the desktop? If so, I kindly ask that you provide me temporary wp-admin info (wp-admin URL, username, password) and FTP info (server, username, password, port) to Private Content area, I will help you.

I’ve added the FTP info for our staging site. I’d like to test it first before adding it to our live site.

If so, we already have an option for this called Open on mouse event https://monosnap.com/file/jDk1ytgB9WtmwTNI6fFhlfRuSJv8Dl where you need to select Click.
