syedu2524ParticipantDear Support,
I am writing to request assistance with translating product slugs and categories on my website using the Loco Translate plugin.
Background:
I have successfully installed and activated the Loco Translate plugin.
I am attempting to translate my website content into Spanish.
Issue:While Loco Translate translates most website elements, I’m encountering difficulties translating the following:
Product slugs (the unique URLs for each product)
Product category names
Desired Outcome:I would like to ensure that both product slugs and category names are translated accurately into Spanish, reflecting the overall Spanish website experience.
Possible Cause (Optional):
I am unsure if there’s a specific configuration needed within Loco Translate to handle product slug and category translation.
Request:
I kindly request your guidance on how to translate product slugs and categories using Loco Translate for my Spanish website. Any additional information or resources you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your time and support.
Sincerely,
Usman Shah

Hung PhamKeymasterHi syedu2524,
Thanks for reaching to us.
+ In order to change / translate words. Please make sure you synced the strings first before changing / translating WooCommerce, WoodMart Core plugins and WoodMart theme. You can refer to article https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/theme-translation/
+ You are also need to select the language for the backend and theme settings for admin from the admin user profile, please edit the user’s profile and then select the language for that user it will show the same on the backend.
Regarding slugs, you cannot translate it via simple translate plugin, like LocoTranslate. You should use advanced translation plugin, like WPML or you can use free plugin for changing slugs.
After that, you need to resave settings in Settings > Permalinks.
Regards,
