nickpostmaParticipantOn this demo page: https://woodmart.xtemos.com/demo-beauty/demo/beauty/
When you scroll down, the menu items in the top nicely get highlighted. So I downloaded the exact same theme on my local env, without any other plugins or changes.
Literally installed Woodmart, selected and installed that theme and opened the page.
The menu items get highlighted when clicking on them, but not when scrolling the page.A similar topic has been raised before, but without a conclusion: https://xtemos.com/forums/topic/one-page-site-active-color-doesnt-change-when-you-are-manually-scrolling/
I suspect that on the demo page, there is some custom JS added.
As stated, I only installed Woodmart with the plain theme, and for me this is not working.
Any idea why that would be?July 29, 2024 at 4:01 am #586318
nickpostmaParticipantJust to be clear on how to easily replicate this:
1. Have a clean WordPress installation on either local or hosted
2. Install WoodMart
3. Select the Beauty theme
4. Open the home page of the new installation
5. Click on the top menu items, they get highlighted and it scrolls to the correct menu anchor
6. Manually scroll the page, the menu items do not get highlighted when scrolling past a menu anchorNot sure what the difference is, the JS file for one page looks the same, yet after multiple attempts it won’t work for my installation, but it does work on the demo page.

nickpostmaParticipantI’m currently not able to set up a new WordPress test env that I can share.
But I’ve done above both on local and on a hosted version, with the same result. It is very very easy to replicate by following the steps above.

Bogdan DonovanKeymasterYou are right, the issue is indeed present in our import for Elementor. It works differently in the demo because WPBakery is used there. To fix this problem, find the “Menu Anchor” elements https://monosnap.com/file/aSyYirdTReZwD7SwzZN8XbBQ3ecgqI and replace them with “Navigation Anchor” https://monosnap.com/file/9lWwseutSYMK4u98WHt89aXAXT46Ma.
This issue will also be fixed in the next theme updates.
Kind Regards
