    Hi,
    I tired the suggested multilingual plug-in: https://xtemos.com/docs-cat/translation/?theme=woodmart
After the installation the empty site page load is 2 sec slower. I tired WPML before, it was the same symptom.
I ended up with Polylang what produce faster page loads on my other site.

Is there any speed optimization for WPML plugin? Why is so slow the page after the plugin installation?
Is Polylang compatible with the theme?

    Thanks for your help.

    Hello,

First, check this article about impacting the WPML on performance – https://www.managedserver.eu/wpml-lento-come-velocizzare-un-wordpress-multilingua-realizzato-con-wpml/#Quali_sono_i_problemi_e_gli_svantaggi_di_WPML

Also, do each step described in our guide on how to optimize your website using our themes can be found here: https://xtemos.com/wordpress-performance-optimization-the-ultimate-guide-in-2021/.

    Kind Regards

    Thanks,

I use already WP-Rocket. What you posted, the performance comparison is really good, thanks.
It seems to be clearly WPML the worst option in performance view.

    Does your theme support Polylang?
Can I use Polylang instead of WPML?

    Thanks.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks, I switched to Polylang and it is much faster.
Could you update your translation section in your documentation to shown that, you are supported other translating plugins too. It was me misleading. I understand that way, the theme support only WPML.
    Thanks.

    Hello,

Officially we support only WPML but I meant that the Polylang plugin works well too with our theme and a lot of customers use it.

    Kind Regards
