RS53ParticipantHello,
We are using 1200x1200px image size as per Google Ads recommendations. However the thumbnails look small on the category and home page. Is there any setting available to zoom in without affecting the image size?
Thanks.

RS53ParticipantJuly 31, 2024 at 2:28 pm #586997Hello,
You can find the sizes used on the demo here: https://xtemos.com/docs/woodmart/faq-guides/image-size-content-alignment-product-grid/
Best Regards.

RS53ParticipantHi,
Thanks, I am aware of the sizes used in Demo. I cannot get it to be bigger while maintaining the 1800x1800px image size. Can you support with this please?
Additionally can you delete our attached files in previous message?
August 1, 2024 at 9:50 am #587193Hello,
You can define the “height” of the shop thumbnails by setting up the width:height aspect ratio in the “Thumbnail cropping” section:
Custom: In Custom you can select the aspect ratio of the image. Here are some of the popular aspect ratios (1:1, 5:4, 4:3, 3:2, 16:9 and 3:1).
Uncropped: Height of the image will be untouched. Images will display using the aspect ratio in which they were uploaded.

Best Regards.

RS53ParticipantThanks,
I have fhanged image to 2:3 and shows the correct size. However the website gets very slow. Can you look into this please? Which sise shoukd we put in the woocommerce customizer setting? The field above the aspect I mean.
August 2, 2024 at 10:22 am #587512Hello,
Our theme is optimized for speed and should not significantly slow down your website. However, it’s possible that your website’s performance is affected by the content you have added. For instance, the use of too many plugins, large unoptimized images, or other resources can slow down your website.
We recommend that you remove any unnecessary plugins and install a JS & CSS optimization plugin such as WP Rocket. Our guide on how to optimize your website using our themes can be found here: https://xtemos.com/wordpress-performance-optimization-the-ultimate-guide-in-2021/.
Best Regards.

RS53ParticipantHello,
Thanks. That was not my question. The website is fast, except when changing the image ratio in woocommerce it gets very slow. So this is effecting the website speed. Without changing the ratio, the website is fast.
August 2, 2024 at 1:19 pm #587583Hello
Please follow this guide and optimize the product images.

RS53ParticipantThanks but that is again not my quesion.
Just to be clear. Which width shoukd I set for custom aspect ratio 2:3 without affecting speed? Our images are already in webp and have a maximum dimension of 1800x1800px as per your url. If we change aspect ratio to 2:3 with image width 800px we see a slow website.
Can you look at tje layout page dor products please and advise which settings to implement?
Thanks again.
August 3, 2024 at 11:40 am #587732Hello,
Please read and follow the instructions here:
https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/image-size-and-content-alignment-in-a-product-grid/Best Regards.
August 5, 2024 at 1:56 pm #587999
RS53ParticipantThanks, but are you reading what I am asking for my friend? I have read your guideline but this did not give the expexted result and if it did, it slowed down the website very much.
So another try: Can we maintain the 1800x1800px image dimension while ensuring the product category thumbnails are shown bigger on the screen? So can we zoom in on the product category gridline thumbnails?
August 6, 2024 at 4:42 pm #588494Hello,
We are sorry for the inconvenience, but we are trying to understand what the problem is. Could you please send us a screenshot of the image you want to change the size for?
Kind Regards

RS53ParticipantAugust 7, 2024 at 9:38 am #588620Hello,
The only place you can change your product image size is in WooCommerce settings in Customizer. It doesn’t make your website slower. Please change the size and let me know if the website becomes slow so I can check.
Kind Regards
