Remove Woodmart Favicons (1 questions + 1 bug report)

    Hi,

    1. I created my own set of favicons with https://realfavicongenerator.net/ (great generator by the way). I added the set via the functions.php file within the woodmart child theme. But there is already code for favicons in the theme which I want to remove. How can I remove the code highlighted on the picture?

    2. When using the customizer and I try to remove the favicons I set up earlier it won’t remove (nothing happens when clicking). When removing the icon through the wordpress backend theme settings it does work – just wanted to let you know.

    Hi,

    Favicon option in customizer is a part of the WordPress functionality and it can’t be removed in our theme. So do you mean that when you remove favicon from Theme Settings it is still shown? Could you please send us your admin so we can check it?

    1. How can I remove the code highlighted on the picture of the first posting?

    2. I go to the customizer and try to remove the favicons – but it doesn’t work as described above (nothing happens when clicking “Remove”) – see screenshot. When removing the favicons with through the theme settings it does work. The screenshots dowsn’t show any favicons because I already removed them via the theme settings.
