Agentur GoldweissParticipantHi Team,
We are almost finished with our website, but there’s an issue with the PayPal button not appearing on the checkout page. We reached out to the PayPal plugin support team, and this was their response:
*”Thank you for the update. We were able to log in and review your PayPal setup. We switched it to sandbox mode to ensure there’s no impact on your merchant account.
We installed a conflict-testing plugin and found that the theme is blocking the button from displaying. Switching to a default theme resolves the issue and allows the PayPal button to appear on the checkout page.
We recommend reaching out to Woodmart theme support to address this issue.
Here’s an example using the default Storefront theme, where the PayPal button is displayed:

I will attach the mentioned images for your reference. Could you please look into this issue? The button should work by default, but no matter what we try, it doesn’t appear on the checkout page. Interestingly, it works fine on every other page we’ve implemented it on.
Thank you for your help!
Best regards,

Artem TemosKeymasterHello,
It looks like the plugin adds its custom content using the standard WooCommerce hook. When you create a custom layout with Elementor it doesn’t contain any default elements and hooks. It contains only those elements that you added with Elementor manually.
We have a special “Hook” element in Elementor that you can place to your custom layout and then the plugin will be able to add its custom content there. But we don’t know which one exactly it needs. You can either try to select all hooks one by one or contact plugin developers for help.
Read more information here https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/custom-hooks-and-plugins-compatibility/
Kind Regards

Agentur GoldweissParticipantHEy,
thank you for the fast reply.
The problem is, that the button should only show up, if paypal is selected as payment method. I didn’t clarify where the button should show up, sorry. When you select paypal in checkout, it shows no button (the normal checkout button dissapears and the paypal button should replace it, which does not happen). If you need credentials, I can provide them.
Best Regards

Agentur GoldweissParticipantWe have another problem not related to paypal. I don’t want to open another ticket because it’s a small issue.
We need german buttons on the cart sidebar that pops up when you hit the mini cart. I couldn’t find a way to change the text on this sidebar. I attached a screenshot for showcase.Best Regards
