Filter by categories subcategory on sidebar (with ajax support)

    Hi.

    Is there a way to mimic sidebar like in the link so when i enter the main category i have only subcategories of that category listed in the sidebar, with an option to select each of them and update the content (its not neccesary to update it via Ajax, more important is the option to list all the subcategories and that it works dynamicaly – only show subcat of the current cat, change to that subcat url, title and description)

    Hello,

    In the site example, there are no subcategories, just the title of the widget – https://take.ms/Maz8J and the categories – https://take.ms/JdyX5

    Did you try to use the “Product categories” widget with the hierarchy enabled – https://take.ms/8l60eR?

    There is a category \”Canvas\” and i created test subcategory with name \”subcat\” I used the category widget you mentioned and you can see in attach the settings of the widget as well as the view on the URL. Display on the category basicaly doesnt follow what is set in the widget, I only need this
    In sidebar, like filter:
    – Canvas
    — subcat of Canvas 1
    —subcat of Canvas 2
    — etc..
    But, as you can see on the page, all of the other categories are shown. As well as the category \”Straps\” which the Canvas belongs to. That is not good, i need for all cat/subcat to only be shown the ancestors in the sidebar.

    Hello,

    The “Product categories” widget is a default that comes from WooCommerce and our theme cannot influent it. So I suggest you find some plugin from WooCommerce that give such custom Product Categories widget.
