To set WPBakery as the default backend editor, follow these steps:
1. Go to your WordPress Dashboard.
2. Navigate to WPBakery Page Builder > Role Manager.
3. Under the Editor Preferences, ensure the Backend Editor is enabled for the post types you want to use it with.
4. Save your changes.
This will make WPBakery the default editor for those post types.
Thanks for your answer.
I’ve already done that, but the frontend editor is still the default one.
Clicking on “edit” opens Gutenberg, and on “edit with WPBakery…” opens the frontend editor.
1. Go to WPBakery Page Builder > Role Manager in your WordPress Dashboard.
2. Under Post Types, ensure WPBakery is enabled for the relevant post types (e.g., Pages, Posts).
To fully disable Gutenberg:
1. Install and activate the Disable Gutenberg plugin.
This should ensure that clicking “Edit” opens the backend editor directly.
