luckyParticipantHi guys,
I’m building a project marketplace for shops.
I’ve installed Dokan plugin. But I’m having hard time to set all up so that the whole website is appearing same way.
For example the dokan sidebar is behaving differently than the theme sidebar? It does not show off canvas button on mobile?
how I can change the appearance of single store page
Also the general shop page does not make sense i think, because the visitor can buy only from 1 shop and should not see all the products from different shops? could you please help me understand what’s best to do in this situation?
I would greatly appreciate your input how to best organise this marketplace?Thank you in advance for your help!
And Merry Christmas!December 26, 2024 at 11:24 am #625433
Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
1. Send me some screenshots for a better understanding of which sidebar you mean.
2. Here is an article on how to customize the Store page – https://dokan.co/docs/otel-hotel-booking-theme/otel-dokan-integration/#store-page
3. You can hide the link to the general Shop page so the customers will not know that it’s available.
Let me know if you have any questions.
Kind Regards

luckyParticipantHi Luke
1) see screenshot – sidebar is showing above the products when on mobile, but it has to be in the off canvas sidebar accessible with the off canvas button. https://snipboard.io/X1numa.jpg
also you can view URLs in private for better understanding
3) how would you hide the link? just remove it from the menu and mobile nav bar? is there any other places that it should be removed? after all there will be also buttons like “return to shop” or similar that they will be redirected to the shop?December 26, 2024 at 4:45 pm #625507
Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
1. In order to activate the “Custom off-canvas sidebar” using Elementor (https://prnt.sc/uG3jd4IkaF2F) , you need to do the following:
1). Make a section with 2 columns, one of them can contain the sidebar element or filter widgets and another will have your products element. https://take.ms/uti4Y
2). Edit the “Sidebar” column and in its settings set the Column role for “off-canvas layout” as “Off canvas”: https://take.ms/puKlD . Also, specify which devices you want to apply this on: https://take.ms/ZljnGThe column with the products should have the “Content column” value in the “Column role” field: https://take.ms/zC3J1
IMPORTANT: both sidebar and content columns should have the same devices selected.
2. In general, most likely such buttons will work. The thing is that if you disable the Shop page via the settings of WooCommerce, I am not sure that the Dokan plugin will work correctly, so ask their support team on how to leave only the vendor store enabled.
Kind Regards

luckyParticipantThanks for reply.
I have set the column with product categories to off canvas sidebar and indeed it’s now hidden in sidebar.
Only problem is now that the filter button in mobile navbar is not appearing as it does when browsing on shop page, and also i cannot activate the off canvas button when scrolling down, not even on general shop page..2) i have not found any solution, any chance any of your team members had this in the past and can help solve it?
Thanks!

Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
1. You need to use this https://prnt.sc/IsGn1PMm5-Ex element to show such a button.
2. If we disable the Shop page via WooCommerce, then the products will not work. Currently, there is no option available in the theme settings to achieve this directly, requires customizations and this is beyond our limitations and support policy. I suggest you contact the WooCommerce support team and ask them how to hide it in the best way.
Kind Regards
