I think I am close to where I would like to push the woodmart theme to the live site and trying to find how best to do this. I have been doing a lot of reading on how to do this and come to what seems like multiple different conclusions.
I currently have a live woo site. I had this copied to a staging site (I am using cloudways) some time ago. There has been no new products added to live since but new orders have been placed.
I have read many times to never copy the database back and forth while others have told me to copy the orders, customer, and product tables to staging and then push all to live.
That said, does the woodmart theme make any changes to the database?
If not I was thinking could I not just copy the Application files and not the DB from staging to live and do NOT copy the database?
or
I see there is a Import/Export function in the theme settings. Could I install the theme on the live same as I did on the staging and then Export from staging and import in the live once the theme is activate?
