how can i choose a related products for a product

Hello,

Please navigate to the Theme setting > Product page, activate related products and configure http://prntscr.com/jw0s1u

Products from the same category would be shown.

Hello,

No, they will be shown by default from the same category. If you want to choose which products to display on the product page, you can configure upsells products.
