marco68ParticipantI have to open an elementor pop-up using the click on an icon as a trigger
When I click on the icon, instead of opening the popup, a string appears after the page url:
#elementor-action%3Aaction%3Dpopup%3Aopen%26settings%3DeyJpZCI6MjA0ODY3LCJ0b2dnbGUiOmZhbHNlfQ%3D%3If I activate the default wordpress theme, the popup opens correctly
Similarly, when I insert a menu with a submenu, the submenu does not work (image 2), whereas if I change the theme, the popup works and so does the menu (image 3)
I have already tried deactivating all plugins except elementor, but the problem is only solved if I switch to a default wordpress theme.
The wordpress theme, elementor and all plugins are up to date.
I have no errors in the consolethank you for your help

Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
Please deactivate all the 3rd party plugins and activate only theme-required plugins on the site and then check the issue. I am sure your issue will be solved. Then Activate the 3rd party plugins one by one and check which plugin is creating the issue for you.
Otherwise, if the issue still exists then keep the 3rd party plugins deactivated and share the WP admin login details of your site so I will check and give you a possible solution.

marco68ParticipantHello,
In my previous message I wrote “I have already tried deactivating all plugins except elementor, but the problem is only solved if I switch to a default wordpress theme.”
Elementor of course is absolutely necessary.
I have created a temporary user

Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
It looks like your Wordfence security settings are preventing the login attempt.
Whitelisting my IP address you can remove the ip restriction. I am accessing your site from Pakistan.
Temporarily disable Wordfence (if possible) while sending the credentials. Once access is granted, I will check and provide a possible solution.

Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
I have visited your site and have not seen any trigger popup in the shop menu. It is showing only as a menu item.
https://ibb.co/J49CNt4Then I have checked your site. You are using two popups “Test” and “Menu Home”. You need to use one popup for this. So for the sub-menu item Navigate to Appearance > Menu > Edit main menu and under the shop menu the sub-menu items are invalid: https://ibb.co/3YBcSWxz
It means that one or more menu items are linked to pages that no longer exist on your website, so you need to either find the corresponding page/post and re-link them, or simply delete the menu items that are no longer needed.
So, If you want to open the popup by clicking on the header menu item, You can do this by using the theme popup. you need to add the following CSS class to the menu item link in Appearance -> Menus.
woodmart-open-newsletter https://prnt.sc/UayAt4FrlUd7Navigate to Woodmart > Header builder and add a Secondary menu.
Make sure the promo popup has been activated in Theme Settings -> Promo Popup.

marco68ParticipantOK, let’s take one topic at a time:
1. The menu contains invalid items now, because you asked me in previous posts to deactivate all non-essential plugins before sending the login details.
You may have noticed that the menu contains woocommerce categories, if woocommerce is deactivated of course the menus are considered invalid.
I’ve reactivated woocommerce, if you do another test you’ll see that, on the page I sent in the first post, the menu doesn’t work, I’ll put the url of the page in private content again.2. in the same page there is an icon that opens a popup, but with woodmart it doesn’t work, instead with the default theme it does.
I usually use the elementor setting in the attached image (see attachment) to open popups. This way I can open as many pop-ups as I need on any page.
Are you saying that with woodmart you cannot use this technique and can ONLY use the theme’s promotional popup?Attachments:

Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
Please Navigate to Theme Settings > Performance > Plugins and enable the option “Elementor frontend” and check how it works: https://ibb.co/Lhc8n3TR

marco68ParticipantEverything seems to be going correctly now.
Thanks for your helpFebruary 25, 2025 at 11:12 am #640748
marco68ParticipantThere is also another problem, on the page I put in the private section.
I put in the widget for products, but the load more button doesn’t load the products, it seems to load, but then nothing happens, it only works if I put in pagination, what am I doing wrong?
ThanksFebruary 25, 2025 at 1:29 pm #640826
Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
The issue occurs because you are using an Elementor Pro template, which overrides the theme’s default functionality, preventing the “Load More” button from working properly.
I recommend using the Theme Layout Builder instead and then testing the issue again. This will ensure full compatibility with the theme’s built-in features.
You can read more about the Layout Builder here:

marco68Participantok, the problem was the widget, I apologize, I didn’t realize I was using the woocommerce widget instead of the theme widget.
With the theme widget it works fine.
