Adding product enquiry button to product pages

    Greetings XTemos team!

    I replied to an older thread from a couple years ago (https://xtemos.com/forums/topic/product-enquiry-form-with-sku-and-product-name/) but since there was no reply I thought it would be best to begin a new thread.

    I am finding myself in need of a similar feature, and was hoping to receive your assistance.

    At the moment I have an HTML block that says (in Hebrew) “Our site does not reflect actual stock! Contact us to check stock” https://prnt.sc/ktnDp4YeUP9w

    1. I could not find how to move this HTML block to another location (I want to locate it higher on the page)

    2. Ideally I would like this block to be clickable and to open a WhatsApp chat that includes a message from the customer “I would like to check stock for the product __________________” with the product name automatically filled out.

    I see that there is a “Product Enquiry Form” plugin on the WooCommerce store but since we already have over 70 plugins installed I would like to try and refrain from installing additional plugins if possible.

    Is there a way to do something similar within Woodmart?

    You can create a Layout for the product page and define that HTML Block in any place you want, here is our article on how to use it – https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/woodmart-woocommerce-layout-builder/

    As for the link, define that text via the “Button” element and set the desired link – https://prnt.sc/hXtFRr8iT8gJ

    Hi Luke,

    Thank you for the prompt reply and I apologize for taking a while to get back to you.

    The layouts section is empty. I am currently asking how I can move the block which the red arrow is pointing to in the following screenshot: https://prnt.sc/ktnDp4YeUP9w

    Regarding the WhatsApp link, I will clarify that I want it to be unique for every product page. Upon clicking on it, I want it to open a WhatsApp chat and to automatically fill in the message for the customer “I would like to check stock for the following product _____________” based on the product page the customer clicked the link from.

    Hello,

    1. If you do not use Layout for the product page, then navigate to /inc/integrations/woocommerce/template-tags.php in the 1964 line copy this function – https://prnt.sc/sl9hm4M30QsC to the functions.php file in your child theme and change the priority of the function – https://prnt.sc/VhHOYfX3VYas so this area should be shown higher.

    2. Unfortunately, by default, we do not have such functionality, you need to use some 3rd party plugin for that purpose.
