Short description issue for single product

    Hi There

    I am using the makeup theme. The single product layout does not seem to respond to the setting to show the short description, or any of the settings for the single product page.

    Also Elementor seemed glitchy when I was trying to edit the layout manually. I finally managed to add it, although all the layouts have “lost” the grey background when editing.

    It is still there when you publish, just not when editing.

    Hello,

    The product layout get the random product to use it as a preview, that product could not have a short description and as a result, in the Layout, you can see only the element. You can set some specific product as a “preview” of product layout in Theme Settings -> Single product -> Select preview product for builder: https://prnt.sc/1xde9UDkhmda

    Hi thank you for your reply. That product did have a short description.

    The single product is not following any of the settings that i set in the Theme Settings under Single Product > Elements.

    I had to manually add the short description with the page builder.

    Please can you investigate for the makeup theme.

    Yes, in order to show some elements/features that you have enabled in Theme Settings, you need to define an appropriate element in Layout. Please check our article about Layouts and how to use it: https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/woodmart-woocommerce-layout-builder/

    Please clarify what exactly you want to show in the Layout so I can check it on my end.
