jeremb5ParticipantHello,
I’d like to create a menu similar to the one used in your “Vegetables” demo (https://woodmart.xtemos.com/vegetables/).
Specifically, what I like is how smoothly users can navigate from a parent category directly to its child categories.
A few quick questions:
Are child categories automatically included in the menu dropdown?
I don’t necessarily need the sidebar with image icons (on the left). My primary interest is in the off-canvas style menu triggered by clicking the main categories.
Additionally, I’m curious about your plans regarding conditional logic for header menus:
Do you plan on implementing a “conditions” feature for displaying the header menu like it’s possible with “layouts”? If this feature is already available, could you please guide me on how to use it? I haven’t found it yet.
I use Elementor Pro alongside Woodmart, and sometimes I’m uncertain about which widget is best to use—for example, choosing between the Woodmart text block and Elementor’s native widgets. Regarding layouts, I tend to prefer Woodmart for WooCommerce pages, but for general page-building, I’m leaning toward Elementor Theme Builder.
Could you advise me on the best practices for choosing between Woodmart’s built-in features and Elementor Pro’s widgets?
Thanks in advance for your help!

Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
Navigate to WoodMart > Header builder > edit current header > add the browse categories elements in the header and choose the categories menu: https://prnt.sc/GAEwUkFgxBz1
Child categories are not added automatically in the dropdown.
To show subcategories:
Go to Appearance > Menus > Edit your Categories MenuUse mega menu HTML blocks to build custom dropdown content for each parent category.
https://xtemos.com/docs/woodmart/html-blocks-2/The “Browse Categories” element will remain sticky (visible in the sidebar position) and triggers the off-canvas menu.
This is the intended behavior by design, and it ensures users can always access the categories menu easily.
If you have any questions feel free to contact us.
Best Regards
