I’m facing a critical issue with my live WooCommerce store and need your expertise. Here’s a detailed breakdown:
The Problem
When navigating between product pages, the featured image from the first product I view appears on all subsequent products. For example:
Open Product A → Displays its correct image.
Open Product B → Shows Product A’s image instead of its own.
Open Product C → Still shows Product A’s image.
Temporary Fix:
Clearing Hostinger’s cache or disabling/re-enabling a plugin allows the next product I open to display its image correctly once.
After that single correct load, images become “stuck” again.
Key Notes:
Only featured images are affected (titles, prices, and descriptions update normally).
Issue occurs across all devices/browsers (incognito, mobile, etc.).
Steps to Reproduce
Ensure WoodMart theme is active.
Open two different product pages in succession.
Observe that the second product shows the first product’s image.
Critical Tests Performed
1. Staging Environment Isolation
Created a staging copy of my site (same server/plugins).
Test 1: Activated default WordPress theme (Twenty Twenty-Three).
Result: No issues – all product images loaded correctly.
Test 2: Reactivated WoodMart theme (no other changes).
Result: Issue returned immediately.
2. Server-Level Checks
Disabled all caching layers:
Hostinger’s LiteSpeed cache, CDN, and image optimization.
Confirmed via curl -I headers (x-litespeed-cache: no-cache).
Deactivated all plugins except WooCommerce – issue persisted.
3. Theme-Specific Confirmation
Tested with a blank child theme (no custom code) – issue remained.
Overrode WooCommerce’s product-image.php template with the default file – issue resolved temporarily.
Current Environment
Theme: WoodMart (v7.x) + Child Theme (no critical custom code).
Plugins: WooCommerce 8.x, Dokan, Elementor Pro.
Hosting: Hostinger Premium (PHP 8.1, OPcache disabled).
Caching: All caching plugins disabled.
Why This Matters
This bug is causing incorrect product images to display sitewide, directly impacting customer trust and sales.
