n0153529ParticipantHi,
Via the API integrations > Instagram API > I pressed connect – Went through the motions of selecting my facebook, and instagram accounts, everything went great and pressed save.
Then shows the grey window XTEMOS “Select your facebook account:”
Nothing appears here in the list.
What has happened?I’ve tried the reconnect. And checked all my details, everything seems fine.
Thanks

Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
This is usually the case when the Instagram account is not linked to Facebook, https://www.facebook.com/help/instagram/176235449218188
Please recheck it, connect it and let me know the result.
Kind Regards

n0153529ParticipantHi there,
Thanks for your quick reply.Within the facebook page – I go: Settings > Permissions > Linked Accounts — And it already shows as a connected Instagram account (see screenshot)
So im unsure if this is the issue?
The client gave me their Facebook login, for which they created the facebook page.
Could it be that its trying to connect to their personal facebook and not the business page? Also im currently im building the new site on a subdomain, and have a public facing under construction page active. (Could these be the issue?) Surely not?
Thanks for your assistance

Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
Most likely, you do not have a business page:

n0153529ParticipantSorry – Ignore my previous reply.
The client does have a facebook page yes.
It adds in the process.I just set a proper page “Username” aka URL for the facebook page, and am attempting to reconnect.
As im unsure of the process:
– The client gave me his facebook login, which created the page
– In the WP backoffice, when i click on the Instagram API connect button – it prompts me to switch accounts to the personal account, before it continues on the reconfigure process.See screenshot for page showing selected.

Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
Okay, check whether the Instagram has a business account like show here – https://www.facebook.com/business/help/502981923235522
Then make sure whether it’s connected to the Facebook – https://prnt.sc/OLG8FY0qd8Sb

I await your response.

n0153529ParticipantHi,
So, i can 100% confirm:
There is a Facebook Personal account – With a Business Page + There is a Instagram Business Page linked to that.
In the WP backoffice – in the Woodmark theme settings > API integrations > Instagram API – I click connect, all the details show, everything appears correctly. But on the final screen, still, nothing shows.I’ve tried everything – so logically we have determine that it faulty.
Thats fine, i’ll use another plugin to achieve this – Just letting you know.Due to the Instagram API being broken – there are now concerns its causing a Elementor Server 500 error.
Just trying to confirm this is the instagram api causing the issue.
If so we’ll be seeking a function to remove/disable the instagram API widget – and will report back.If you have anything else thats helpful – please let me know.
Again, i 100% confirm, all accounts are business accounts, and linked (FB > INSTA)Thanks

Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
In this case, send me access to the admin panel, Instagram account and Facebook so we can check what is wrong there.
Kind Regards
