Move the whole design

    Hi guys.

    Im creating a new design for my web. I´d been working on it for 1 month.
    Cause I prefer to work with a new ddbb I was designing in a subdomain, and I moved the orders, customers, when I started the design (May, 1st)

    I migrate from the production website with All in One Export / Import to keep the same Ids.

    But more than a month has gone, since I move the orders, customers, so I have more customers / orders to migrate. So during this month I have of course new customers and orders. And I could migrate again with the AIOExp/Imp

    The problem, cause Id been doing lot works with the design, is that now I dont think I can keep the same ID for the order, customers, products ..

    Mi first idea is make a new installation, migrate all the orders, products, customers, and then try to migrate the design… But .. How ?

    Hi soloprowebmaster,

    Thanks for reaching to us.

    I recommend contacting hosting provider, because, as a rule, hosting support helps with this. Site migration is not related to the theme, so we don’t have any detailed suggestions. You can use most popular plugins: All-in-One WP Migration, Duplicator, WPvivid.

    I highly recommend you to take a complete backup of your site before proceeding.

    Hi !
    I wasnt saying anything with the migration.

    I can migrate to a new installation, but I want to keep the same design already made in woodmart to apply to the new installation.

    Hi soloprowebmaster,

    Thanks for sharing details.

    I can’t access to the site you designed, but I can give you few suggestions. In order to keep design for new installation, you can:

    1. Export theme settings and import to new installation https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/theme-settings-backup/

    2. If you are using Child theme, just upload it to new installation.

    Then, you can move settings / custom codes to new installation.
