AJAX Search slow

    MY ajax search is taking too long considering i only have like 100 products, can you please help me or give me suggestions on how to improve. Thanks!!

    Hello,

    Could you please check how it works with some default WordPress theme like twentysixteen to understand is it our theme issue or not? We see that your website is slow in general, it is not only ajax search problem.

    But this link has an empty website. You can install our theme there and it will work with the same speed.

    ok, but we have improve the speed of our website, generally it is very fast now. But the search is still very slow…any recommendation?

    We just tested your search page without AJAX and it has the same speed as AJAX request. So it works in the same way.

    So what does it mean? The problem would be in our database? or something else?

    Try to check the following:

    1. Disable all external plugins that are not related to our theme. Measure speed.

    2. Switch to default WordPress theme and check search form widget speed.

    3. Check your search page queries with this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/query-monitor/
