    Hi,

I have set my Customizer/Woocommerce/Product Images/Main Image width and thumbnail width to 200 for both, 1:1 Thumbnail cropping. Images are originally square.

Then I upload a new image (to ensure no thumbnail caching issue).

On the product page, the product image displayed is oversized, blurry, i.e. its displayed dimensions are more than 200×200 as per my settings. I confirmed that the image was stretched because when i download the image, it’s 200×200.

In this case, how can I ensure that the product image displayed is 200×200 as per my customizer settings, instead of being stretched to fill the space on the screen?

    Hello,

Product image size is taken from the settings 200px ant tries to spread it to the whole space. Set bigger size for your images for example 500.

    Best Regards

Hi, yes, i intentionally set it as 200px so that I illustrate that the image is stretched in the product page from 200px to 300-500px, depending on the size of the screen.

How can I limit the size of the product image on product page? I do not want the image to be big because I don’t want people to copy my images for other purposes.

    Hello,

Please navigate to Theme Settings > Product Page > Images > http://prntscr.com/k9y0qf

Perhaps it would help. You would better consider some kind of watermark on your images to protect. You know, potential buyers do not like small images.

    Hi,

Thanks for the suggestion. I have already set to “Small”. The image size is still fluid, depending on the screen size, is that correct? What size do you suggest so that the image will still be crisp on retina display when I am using this “Small” setting?

For catalog image in grids, what’s the suggested size?

    Hello,

Take any size to have a space for big devices, there are no certain recommendations, settings depend on your purposes. Try to set different sizes, starting from 600/800/1000 you will find the best size for your purposes.

    Best Regards
