The Discounted Price Tag Problem
-
Hello,
I uploaded products with variations for a customer who sells coffee. I set the variations and prices to 250 grams and 1000 grams. If customers order 1000 grams, I show them a 10% discount on the regular price. However, even though 250 grams are selected, the “10% discount” message appears. This makes it appear as if the 250 grams are also discounted. So, how can we make it so that 1000 grams are delivered, and 250 grams are deducted?

Hello,
By default, WooCommerce displays the “Sale tag” badge on variable products if any variation has a sale price — even when the currently selected variation does not.
If you’d like the sale label to appear only when the selected variation is on sale, you’ll need a code customization. For now there is no options in theme settings to available for that
Best Regards,
How can I customize this code? Can you help me? I don’t have any coding knowledge, unfortunately.
Hello,
Sorry to say, it requires customization and is beyond our support policy. Additional code customizations in theme files are out of our theme support scope.
Hope you can understand!
Best Regards,
Thank you very much. There’s nothing to do, so we won’t be using that feature. This thread can be closed.
