psikologesmayinancParticipantHello WoodMart Support Team,
I’m experiencing a persistent issue with the main menu assignment on my website that seems to be related to a conflict between WoodMart and Polylang.
Here’s the detailed description:
When I go to Appearance → Menus → Manage Locations, I assign my main menu to the Main menu location and click Save.
After refreshing the page, the menu assignment disappears — it resets to empty.
The same thing happens even if I assign the menu through Customizer or Header Builder.
When I deactivate Polylang, the problem disappears immediately — the menu assignment is saved correctly and remains persistent after reload.
Once Polylang is reactivated, the menu location resets again, and WoodMart no longer remembers which menu was assigned.
I have already tested the following:
Cleared all caches (LiteSpeed + theme cache + Cloudflare)
Increased max_input_vars to 5000
Recreated menus for each language
Reassigned menu locations per language in Polylang
Even manually verified the serialized nav_menu_locations data in the database — it looks valid.
Despite all that, the issue remains.
It appears that WoodMart’s menu location handling (especially via Header Builder) does not fully support Polylang’s multilingual menu assignments.Could you please check this and confirm whether WoodMart currently supports language-specific menu locations with Polylang?
If not, could you provide a workaround or a patch to make menu assignments persistent when Polylang is active?I’d be happy to share access details or any logs if needed for debugging.
Thank you for your assistance and for your great work on WoodMart!
Best regards,
Muhammed BAKİ

Artem TemosKeymasterCould you kindly test the functionality with default WordPress themes such as TwentyTwenty or WooCommerce Storefront? This will help us determine whether the issue stems from our theme or elsewhere.
Regards

psikologesmayinancParticipantI have already tested the issue using the default WordPress themes such as Twenty Twenty and Storefront, but the problem still persists.
The menu assignment still resets when Polylang is active, so it doesn’t seem to be related to the theme switch.October 22, 2025 at 4:10 pm #692253
psikologesmayinancParticipantYou have my permission to make any necessary changes directly from the WordPress Admin Panel for testing and troubleshooting purposes.

Artem TemosKeymasterHello,
It means that the issue is not caused by the theme it is not a WoodMart conflict. You need to contact the Polylang plugin’s developers for help on this matter.
Kind Regards
