Partially not translated into Ukrainian store

    I set the main language of the store to Ukrainian. The theme is Woodmart. For some reason, not everything was translated into Ukrainian. Unfortunately, much of the site remains in English — for example, the search, wishlist, cart, and many other elements. Please help me figure this out. How can I translate the parts that weren’t translated?

    Hi there,

    Thank you for using our theme and contacting us.

    This usually happens when only the theme is translated but not the related plugins, or when translation files are not synced/saved in the correct location. Please try these steps:

    Translate with Loco Translate
    – Install/activate the Loco Translate plugin.
    – Loco Translate > Themes > WoodMart > Ukrainian > click Sync, translate missing strings, Save.
    – Loco Translate > Plugins > WooCommerce > Ukrainian > Sync, translate, Save.
    – Save translations in the System location so they are loaded from:
    – Themes: wp-content/languages/themes/
    – Plugins: wp-content/languages/plugins/

    Use ready-made files (optional)
    – Download Ukrainian translations for WoodMart here: https://xtemos.com/glotpress/projects/woodmart/
    – Ensure files are named woodmart-uk_UA.po and woodmart-uk_UA.mo and place them in wp-content/languages/themes/.

    Verify language code
    – You can confirm the exact locale code in WooCommerce > Status > Language (should be uk_UA).

    Note about some texts
    – Some messages come from WooCommerce settings (not from the theme). For example, the registration privacy text can be changed in WooCommerce > Settings > Accounts & Privacy.

    If you follow the steps above and some parts are still not translated (wishlist, search, cart, etc.), please share temporary WP admin access in a private reply and we will check your Loco setup and files directly.
