Translation doesn’t work in the theme

Hi,

I was trying to translate the text on the checkout page (below the payment methods)
and add a link to the privacy policy page. ( “Your personal data will be used to process your order, support your experience throughout this website, and for other purposes described in our %s.” )

However, it doesn’t work.
