I have an issue with out-of-stock variable products.
For simple products, when the stock runs out, the “Add to Cart” button automatically disappears and a Request Form appears — this works perfectly.
However, for variable products, this behavior doesn’t occur.
I’ve already disabled the WooCommerce option “Hide out of stock items from the catalog”, but in that case, the customer has to open the product page and manually select a variation to see that it’s out of stock.
What I’d like to achieve is this:
If all variations of a product are out of stock, the “Add to Cart” button should automatically be replaced with the same Request Form, exactly as it works for simple products.
Could you please advise how to implement this behavior (either through theme settings or a custom snippet)?
