Attribute filters not showing on search results

    Hi,
    we’re using Woodmart theme with WooCommerce, and we’ve run into an issue with attribute filters.

    Problem:
    Attribute filters work correctly on category pages, but do not appear after performing a product search (search results page).

    Any guidance on how to enable attribute filters on search result pages would be greatly appreciated.

    Hello,

    The attribute filters will only appear on the search results page if the products listed there are variable products with the corresponding attributes assigned.

    If your search results include only simple products or variable products without the attributes set, the filters will not show.

    I have searched on your site and the attribute filters are showing fine in the sidebar.

    Hi, thanks, but I can confirm this is not correct in our case.

    On our site, the exact same “Panini Select” products show attributes correctly on category pages (filters for Serie/Liga/Klubb/Landslag appear with many options).

    However, when searching for “panini select” (WooCommerce search results page), the sidebar only shows:

    Price

    Kort-egenskaper (our custom attributes like Auto/Base/Gradert/etc.)

    The attribute filters for Serie / Liga / Klubb / Landslag disappear completely on the search results page, even though the listed products clearly belong to those leagues/clubs and have the attributes assigned.

    So the issue is:
    ✅ attributes exist and work on category archives
    ❌ Woodmart is not generating layered navigation filters on search result pages

    Hello,

    In Appearance > Widgets, for the WoodMart Layered Navigation widget, you have the option to assign the filter to specific product categories.

    Since the widget is configured to work with selected categories only, it will appear only on category archive pages and not on other archive pages, such as the Shop page or search results page.

    If you want the filters to be visible on all product archive pages, please edit the Layered Navigation widget and remove the category limitation (or set it to apply globally), then save the changes: https://postimg.cc/sQrDdMg4

    After that, clear the cache and check again.
