    Hi,

I have many products with variations. Suddenly the variation images are not changing any more, when I click on a variation on the product page. On the edit product page each variation has its own image.

Please visit the link that I have provided in the private content. On the right side, beneath the price there is a set, where you can click on „6er“ and „12er“. Normally the product image would change.

    Kind regards
    David

    Hello,

To change the image on attribute click, please edit Product Attribute and enable the Change product image on attribute click option.

Then, edit the terms of the attribute and upload the Image Swatch.

Enable the Additional variations images option in Theme Settings > Shop > Variable products: and upload appropriate images to the variations: https://take.ms/MiDHc . Then the images will change by clicking on the swatches.

The options you mentioned were already set correctly.

But I found the cause. I use ShortPixel to automatically convert all images to WebP. The option “Using the <PICTURE> tag syntax” does not seem to be compatible with WoodMart or WooCommerce. It only works when I use the method via .htaccess.

As the htaccess method is not compatible with my hosting provider, is it possible to fix the issue, so that I can use the picture-tag method with your theme?

    Hello,

The issue is caused by ShortPixel’s <picture> tag method, which is not compatible with WoodMart/WooCommerce variation image switching. Unfortunately, there’s no theme fix for this — you’ll need to use a WebP method that keeps standard <img> tags or check with ShortPixel for a compatible solution.

    Best Regards,
