Brand Tab – product page

    Hi,
    can anybody help me understand how can i set About Brand Tab?
    We use attribute > Brands > Brand name.

    I wrote some “test” content for brand.
    Enabled in /wp-admin/admin.php?page=xts_theme_settings&tab=product_elements
    Also on product page attribute > bran it’s checked “show on product” (and it’s attached in tab “additional information”.

    I don’t add anything in “Custom Tabs”… should i?

    We are thinking to achieve something like here:

    But i’m not sure how start this? we need create html blocks for each brand? or maybe change product layout?

    We plan create archive page for each brand / with photos / products.
    On product page we plan add only “teaser” something like it’s displayed on demo page… is it possible to make it out of the box? maybe i missing something in docs:/

    And don’t know how show it on product page?

    Is any option to without create new blocks. Achieve something like this:

    Brand Page
    Description / graphic / great looking.
    Product lists

    Product Tab
    Use only some description text “short” or something?

    We use Attribute Brand… and there is only one place to “html block” or (maybe we should use “pages”? is any option /good practice to do not duplicate pages/texts and hold it’s in one place?

    Hello,

    When you enable Theme Settings > Shop > Brands > “Show tab with brand information”, it automatically adds a new tab on the single product page.

    The content of that tab is pulled from the Brand attribute term > Description field.

    Go to Products > Attributes > Brand > Configure terms > Edit a brand and add your text / HTML in the Description field.

    Then on the single product page, it shows it inside the Brand tab.

    Hi, yes. But this take “all description? or maybe i can reduce it?

    We plan in Brand Attribute… Add shortcode to html block. Is any option to show:

    Brand Description
    <p>Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Sed do eiusmod tempor incididunt ut labore et dolore magna aliqua. Ut enim ad minim veniam, quis nostrud exercitation ullamco laboris nisi ut aliquip ex ea commodo consequat. Duis aute irure dolor in reprehenderit in voluptate velit esse cillum dolore eu fugiat nulla pariatur</p>.

    And take to Product Tab only “<p> …</p>” selector?

    Hello,

    The Brand tab shows everything you add in the Brand term > Description field. There’s no built-in option to display only part of it.

    If you want to use HTML Blocks, just paste the block shortcode inside the Description.
