    Hello,

I am using the WoodMart theme and I would like to change the default behavior of the wishlist button on the shop page and product loops.

    The issue:
Currently, when a user clicks the wishlist heart icon a second time (on a product already added), the theme redirects them to the Wishlist page.

    What I need:
I want to disable this redirect. Instead, I want the second click to act as a toggle: it should remove the product from the wishlist via AJAX while staying on the same page.

I have already tried setting “Save button state” to NO, but I want the button to remain “filled” if the product is in the list, and only remove it upon the second click.

Could you please provide a safe snippet or a setting to achieve this?

    Thank you!

    Hello,

We have already implemented this in the latest version of the theme, First of all, update the new version of the theme “WOODMART WordPress NEW: 8.4.1 RELEASED”, update the required plugin, and check the option.

    Let me know the result.

Thank you for fixing the wishlist icon behavior in the latest update.

I have one question: is there any chance that in a future update the wishlist icon in the header could have a dropdown preview, similar to the cart dropdown?

For example, when hovering or clicking the heart icon, it would show the saved products in a small dropdown instead of opening a separate page.

I think this would improve UX a lot.

    Thank you!

    Hello,

Sounds good! We’re glad to hear that your issue has been resolved after updating the theme.

Regarding the Wishlist popup, have you checked our Multi-Wishlist functionality? If not, please take a look at the following documentation: https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/wishlist/

If this still doesn’t match what you’re looking for, you’re welcome to submit your suggestion as a feature request on our forum so our development team can review and consider it for future theme updates.

    Best Regards,
