sevtra7ParticipantHello,
We’re having a problem with your Woodmart theme. We’re unable to use the “Edit with Elementor” feature to modify any of your theme’s pages; we keep getting the same error message:Sorry, the content area was not found in your page.
We’ve tried several methods to fix this bug, but without success!
See screenshot!
Sincerely,
Kad

It seems you are trying to edit the default Archive page with the page builder. Sorry for the inconvenience but as you know the default layout of the archive pages isn’t directly editable with the Page Builder plugins because WooCommerce doesn’t allow it to do so.
But under the WoodMart Theme, using the Theme’s Layout Builder you can create Custom Layouts for WooCommerce pages like Shop, Category, Single Product page, Cart and Checkouts. So, you can use that to create your own custom layouts for these pages.
Further, you can read more about the Layout Builder here: https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/woodmart-woocommerce-layout-builder/
Hope this helps !
Best Regards

sevtra7ParticipantHi,
Sorry, but we’re not trying to modify the default archive page. However, when we open a blank page and then edit it with Elementor, we get this error message. There’s a bug between the Woodmart theme and the latest version of Elementor!

I have edited the custom layout for the archive pages that you have created in Layouts and it is editable in Elementor. Please check it again.
If the issue still exists, please share a small video of the issue for a better understanding.
Best Regards.

sevtra7ParticipantHi,
Can you explain why, when I try to edit a page using “Edit With Elementor” with Woodmart, Elementor takes over 25 seconds to load, whereas when using the Twenty-TwentyFour+Elementor theme, the load time is around 7 to 8 seconds?
Regards,
Kad
March 19, 2026 at 5:53 pm #713389Hello,
Yes, I can try my best to explain it to you.
Twenty-TwentyFour theme is a block-based, lightweight starter theme. It loads the absolute minimum CSS and JavaScript required to function. Elementor doesn’t have much to compete with or “carry” during the handshake process.
While Woodmart is an “all-in-one” powerhouse. It comes with dozens of custom Elementor widgets, massive CSS libraries for its unique design features, and specific scripts for things like AJAX search, quick shop, and advanced menus. All these assets have to be initialized when the Elementor editor opens.
Please follow this guide and troubleshoot the issue:
