    Hello,

I need guidance on setting up multilingual functionality for my website. Currently, the site is in Ukrainian, but I need to add an additional language — Russian — with a language switcher.

From the documentation, I see that WPML is recommended; however, I understand that it is a paid plugin. I need a free solution.

Is there a way to import products in bulk in another language without creating duplicates, so that they appear correctly on the pages for the second language?

I have previously used Polylang, but translations were done manually. Since I have a large number of products — over 3,000 — manual translation would be extremely time-consuming.

Could you please advise the best approach for this scenario?

    Thank you for your help.

    Hello,

We recommend to use the WPML plugin on your site. We’ve implemented numerous compatibility fixes in our theme to ensure seamless integration with WPML. Additionally, we maintain regular communication with the WPML team to address any issues that arise for our mutual customers who encounter conflicts between WoodMart and WPML.

Also, you have so many products to translate and it will take much time when you translate them manually. So in my opinion, you should go for WPML plugin.

You can read more details in the theme documentation as well:
