Hi, I have just installed Basel theme and activated it on dev site…

First of all it tells me that there is an update available You have version 4.2.1 installed. Update to 10.0. I think is a joke since I have downloaded it a couple days ago…. when I try to auto update it just throw me an error from wp-admin/update-core.php and on wp-admin/themes.php?theme=basel it just tell me that automatic update is not available… so I need to know why it is not available and why I download the version 4.2.1 if there is a 10.0

Now when I go to Basel > Theme settings a white page with these words “Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.” appear.. It might solve after point one.

I thinks its awufl to have an issues just after installing the theme.

I just fix it myself….

Quick question… If I want to import store settings from one demo.. is this option available? will it import something else than tore settings?

Importing demo, you will get settings plus the appearance – all the templates.

Hi, yes I have already import it, It seems it does not imported any product and any setting … it just imported sample pages layout.

On a different question… I got already a plugin for social login. It is Nextend Social Login (Pro) it allows to register and login on WooCommerce (checkout)…. I have seen your social login allows just to Login for returning customer on checkout. Do I need to use your social login? The plugin will not work anymore? Accounts and registered users will be the same? Do I have to placethe keys of my actual social login apis?

please let me know if there is a way to keep my actual plugin, if not just let me know if its enough to use the same keys and if I will keep all customers accounts and all that.

Our dummy content data is developed in the way that prevents your website from being populated with a lot of unnecessary data (like tons of images, pages, and products) because they are not really useful for you. And it may take a while to delete it when you start creating your own content. That’s why you are able to select which pages to import from a dropdown in admin panel -> Dummy Content. You will find there all home pages and all additional pages like contacts, about us etc.
If you need any additional data or some instructions just write us and we will do our best to help you.

NOTE that all stock photos are not included in theme package (as was stated on our themeforest item description page). Also, pages from Shop for example are actually all the same but with different settings. You can combine all types of shop pages via Theme Settings -> Shop.

You can use your own social login plugin and not enable our theme’s option.

Hi your answer is once again useless….

I was not even asking again the questions again I just ansewerd so If anyone have the question will find the answer.Notice that you just copy/paste documentation paragraph and did not answer anything.. here are some good examples on how to ask a question.

First of all you need to actual read the quetion. Now past questions were this:

-Will dummy data be imported such as products?
the common right answer will be: No they will not.

-Does demo settings will be imported?
The common right answer wil be: No they are not. It just import demo pages not settings on theme options
****Notice that I am not asking for any answer for questions abovesince I had to do it myself to find the right answer*****

Now I DO want answers for this questions….
I can use my social login
1)but how? It seems to not be displaying (I know its not working on dev url since it has a different url than the one on the api….but it should be displaying.)
2)what do I have to disable on your theme so the plugin displays?
3)will this have any issue with the theme functions?

If I want to use yours once again my questions…
4)should I use same api keys or I need to create new project?
5)should the actual accounts and passwords remain the same so clients will not loose their accounts?

And another questions:

6)I have seen they are “brands” options I have also a brand plugin. Can you send me the links to the documentation part that has the brands section?
7)If I use your brand option willi be able to import previous brands for each product or will I need to manually add each brand to each product?
8)If I need to do this manualy is there a fast way to do this? Since I have 700+ products

Please notice that I add numbers to the questions… there are a total of 8 questions so I am expecting 8 answers, please try to add a complete answer according on what was asked.

Really hope you answer at least half of them this time.. im getting very dissaponted about this support…

Hello,

Once again I figured out almost all..

I have although I got this questions:

1) If I decide to go with your social login I will use the same apis to keep all howit is?
2) If I use your brands function I will need to add brands to all again? Or there is a way to import them
3)On my account how do I remove options such as “Downloads” from the page and from menu
4)There is a “filter” see filter.png attached how do I remove those filters there? I have no filters on widge area
5)The single product page does not seems good, if I add a sidebar the descriptions and social share goes down.. after the sidebar finish.. that doe not look good is any way to avoid that?

Hi,

Sorry for the inconvenience.

1. If I decide to go with your social login I will use the same apis to keep all howit is? We don’t know what API keys do you use now since we even don’t know how the plugin works. So, you just need to follow our documentation and do everything step by step to configure it. If you see that it uses same keys, you don’t need to change them.

2. Yes, you need to add brands attribute and terms and assign them to products. By default, WooCommerce doesn’t have any mechanisms for importing theme and our theme doesn’t have them in the dummy content.

3. Go to WooCommerce > Settings > Advanced and remove the entry for Downloads in the Account endpoints section, just leave it blank. And the menu will not be visible anymore.

4. You can disable this area completely in Theme Settings -> Shop.

5. Sorry, but there are no other layouts for our single product page. That is how it works with sidebar.

Hi,

thanks for answering, I got another question. Is there a way to add the quantity box (see box.png)to cart widget (see cart.png)?

Also if there a way to import the saved options from dev site to live site?

Hi,

1. Sorry, but there is no such option in our theme.

2. You can import and export your settings in Dashboard -> Theme Settings -> Import/Export.

Great.

I saw there is a login feature for some headers. PLease see login.png.. How can I add it to any header/menu I want? for example the the one with header to left and menu to right…. or it just work with certain headers?

I would love to add it on topbar (topbar menu) with the same feature to open on “sidebar”

By default, this header layout doesn’t have Login/Register link. But you can add it manually placing the following code snippet to the functions.php file in the child theme.
