Issues with Chamevo (formerly Fancy Product Designer)

In the past Woodmart was 100% compatible with the very popular product customizer plugin “Fancy Product Designer”. Meanwhile the developers relaunched their tool as “Chamevo” and released a complete new version. See here: https://chamevo.com/de/blog/the-future-of-fancy-product-designer-your-path-to-chamevo/
Unfortunately as with the new version, Woodmart is breaking some functionality. The following issues occur when using Chamevo with Woodmart (tested with Storefront and the issues are gone, so definitely an issue with Woodmart).
- When customizing a product with Chamevo and you want to add it to the cart in a quantity other than 1, still only 1 unit is put in the cart.
- On the cart page, there is no possibility to change the quantity for products designed with Chamevo
- Cart quantity however can be changed in the minicart. But if you go to the regular cart page afterwards, the amount reflects the quantity, but it still displays only 1.

Could you please send us a screenshot of how it looks with the default WordPress theme on your website? Also, send us your admin access so we can switch between themes also and see what is the difference.

Of course, but actually there’s even no need to switch to Storefront. The issue only occurs for products which can be customized with Chamevo, all other products are working fine.
Here’s another video which shows the difference:
1st product = no Chamevo = working fine
2nd product = Chamevo product = not working

We are aware of the issue and have identified the root cause. Unfortunately, we do not currently have a quick fix available. We are working on a proper solution, which is planned to be included in one of our upcoming updates. We appreciate your patience and understanding.
