    Hello,

Please — Fix WoodMart variable-product compatibility.

For several weeks now, variable product pages on my online store have no been functioning.

Whenever a product variation is selected, the page goes blank, it refreshes the page, adds it to cart automatically, redirects to the home page, turn the screen green until a refresh of the page is done or a notice pops up saying “Please select some product options before adding this product to your cart” — but the customer is not adding to cart… the customer is trying to select an option.

But I also notice that when I am logged in as the admin, I do not notice this issue, but others logged in as shop manager notice it sometime when logged in too.

I have not been able to trace the cause down until about an hour ago, when trying to implement a new delivery option that a diagnostic and compatible test came up with this result — WoodMart overrides the variable-product template with an out-of-date version.

I was asked to manually update the first as a last resort.
But that I should first send the message below to Xtemos support.

    —————–

Raise it with XTemos support using this exact issue:

    WoodMart 8.5.4
    WooCommerce 10.9.3
    Outdated override:
    woocommerce/single-product/add-to-cart/variable.php

    WoodMart template version: 9.6.0
    WooCommerce core template version: 10.9.0

    Ask for either:

    an updated WoodMart template; or
confirmation that the differences are intentionally compatible.

Do not assume the warning is harmless, but also do not rush into replacing WoodMart’s file blindly.

I also manage a different WooCommerce site using WoodMart theme for a friend of mine.
The same similar issue is also happening on the Variable Products pages.
