onxxx2177ParticipantI am writing to request assistance regarding a severe performance issue. I am currently migrating my Woodmart-based WooCommerce store to production (replacing an older, existing store).
When deployed to the new hosting environment, both the frontend of the store and the WordPress admin dashboard take 30 to 40 seconds to load a single page.
Important Troubleshooting Tests:
On my development domain, the website works perfectly. I even created a new subdomain on that dev domain, and the site works fast and smoothly there as well.
However, the issue is tied strictly to the target production domain. To test things safely, I created a staging subdomain on the target domain (on the new hosting) and installed the migrated site there. The extreme 30-40s lag occurs on this target subdomain too.
This indicates the problem is related specifically to the target domain or its hosting environment configuration, not the site itself.
Please note: Because the site is so slow, I had to restore the old, live store on the main production domain immediately to avoid killing my traffic and sales. The slow, newly migrated site is currently left on the target subdomain for you to investigate.
I have already tested practically everything on my end (checking plugins, cache, basic optimization), but the problem persists. Could you please check what might be causing this massive delay on this specific environment?
Thank you for your help.

To check whether this is theme-related, please test with a default theme:
1. Back up your site first.
2. Temporarily switch to a default WordPress theme (e.g. Twenty Twenty-Four) or Storefront.
3. Test the same functionality and let us know whether the issue persists.Your WoodMart settings are preserved and will return when you switch back.

Thanks for the update and for testing with a default theme.
Since the delay persists after switching to a default theme, the issue isn’t related to WoodMart. It’s most likely caused by the hosting/server environment specific to the target domain/subdomain.
Please contact your hosting provider to investigate the server configuration and performance on that environment. If you find any evidence that points specifically to the theme, share those details and we’ll gladly re-check on our side.
Kind regards,
