Can "select options" button on products page display "quick view" modal instead

Hi,

I love the functionality of the “Select options” button but some of my products don’t really benefit from having extra info inside the product area when you click on the “Select options” button.

Would it be possible to make the “Select options” button bring up the larger modal window that appears when you click the “quick view” magnifying glasss or remove the “Select options” button and put in it’s place the “quick view” button?
