Search variations

    I can search product variations from the admin area without any problem, but not from the front-end (no products are found).

    What can I do to fix this please?

    Hello,

    Thank you so much for contacting our support center.

    Search algorithm comes with WooCommerce plugin and yes, it doesn’t search by variations on the frontend. You can see that it will work the same way with other themes as well. Sorry, but we can’t fix it in our theme’s scope.

    Thanks for the response. On other sites I’ve used plugins like WP Extended Search and they’ve solved the problem perfectly, however they don’t seem to work with Woodmart – surely there’s something I can do? It must be a very common requirement.

    Hi,

    I’ve installed the plugin. To test it, you could for example type Korma or Balti into the search bar, which should return 4 and 2 results respectively.

    I can’t activate it on the live site I’m afraid (http://alittlebitbazar.net/). It’s active on the dev site though.

    Please, provide us your admin access to your dev site so we can compare how this plugin works with our theme and with default WP theme.

    Hi,

    The login is definitely correct. I’ve cleared the firewall deny rules for the last few days, so if you were blocked before because the password was wrong it should be okay now. If not, please send me your IP and I’ll whitelist it.
