Translate POT file

    To translate the theme should I create the POT files in my child-theme directory or translate directly on the template?

    In the example on YouTube you use Loco Translate and select the main template, not the child theme, if I do so and update the template I will lose the translations?

    Hello,

    You would not lose the translations updating the theme, cause translations files are stored in languages/loco/themes/woodmart-<locale>.po

    Please follow the instructions from the video and you would not lose any changes.
