Product and Attribute Compare/Comparison

Hello,

We have diverse and large product offering and most products do not share attributes with each other. We want to use the compare feature but with so many varied attributes it leaves a lot of comparison tables with blank rows. We cannot unselect ‘fields to show’ in YITH because it would then disable that feature for a relevant product. For example, we have 10 products that use color. We have 10 different products that don’t use color, but use a size attribute. We couldn’t unselect color or size from the table settings since that would prevent a group of product from having relevant data so we must have empty rows in the comparison table.

Is there a way to exclude certain products from using the compare feature? Or is there a way to show fields based on only those that apply to the selected product? I hope this makes sense. Thank you for your time!
