Hello. When I click add to cart, the pop up cart window opens and I add the product. But when I click the Cart link or browse to the /cart page — the products are not in my cart. When I have managed to get a product in the cart, I cannot add a second one — it either does not appear in the cart or it kicks out the previous product in the cart.

I have swapped the theme with 2017 wordpress theme and the cart issue is gone!

I have disabled plugins but this does not have any impact on the theme. The site is on WP Engine and there is also Cloudflare on the account.

Okay I have turned off the Ajax functionality for adding products to the cart, in the Woodmart theme settings, and now the products are being added to the cart properly. But I’d like to be able to have the ajax —

    Hello,

I am checking the site: I add the product to cart, I see it in the sidebar http://prntscr.com/knvnoi

And I see the product in shopping cart page http://prntscr.com/knvo09

    Please clarify the issue.

    Best Regards

Please, update our theme and all the included plugins to the latest version. Disable all external plugins and send us your FTP access so we can check what is wrong.

    Thank you

I made the changes you requested — I made them on a copy of the site, this is WP Engine hosted so I created a staging version of the site.

The “staging” copy has absolutely no issues. I did update everything as you suggested.

I am working with WP Engine — they have to “stop” the caching of certain pages used by Woocommerce, to prevent Ajax issues.

Is / are there some other pages, fragments, anything I should also request them to stop the caching for? I am happy to provide FTP access, I will provide access to both the production and staging sites. But in the meantime — anything I need to tell WP Engine to stop caching? Maybe that pop up cart page — does that page have a URL I can stop the caching for?

Here is the info you requested. I have disabled the AJax add to cart in the site settings. I updated everything except the WPBakery Page Builder plugin, which I am checking to see if we have a separate license for.

Ask them to prevent ALL AJAX requests from caching and prevent caching cart, checkout, wishlist and account pages.

WP Engine has disabled all these pages and for the Ajax, they said they don’t cache posted Ajax calls.

At this time, the store works fine without the Ajax cart. I noticed a lot of issues with deprecated calls, when I checked the error logs. It is probably just best to keep the Ajax off and not spend any more time on this.
