    Hello,
    I have a problem with my permalinks. I know that it is certainly not a problem of Woodmart theme but it would be really pleasant if you could help me.
    In fact, I have a footer on all pages with informations like contact… The link is for example website/contact/
    The problem is that google search this page according to the page where he is. For example if he is on a category/product/, he is looking for the contact page with: category/product/contact and not website/contact. So it create a lot of 404 error.
    I have a plugin of redirection, but I don’t know how to write: replace all that there is before ( I.e …/contact or …/…/contact by /contact ?
    Do you know what I have to write ?

    Hi,

    Be sure that all these links have full URL including protocol like this one https://website.com/contacts/.

    Hello,

    We can hardly help you with this problem.

    As I understand you should redirect your broken links to valid link. If you have installed the plugin, you insert bad links and put valid one. Or you go to the Google webmaster and delete or edit links there.

    You would better get the recommendation from an SEO company.

    Thanks to all 2 to have answered.
    Unfortunatly, pages are too many to be changed one by one and so I have searched several hours before contacting you.
    In fact I know how to redirect all pages, if the problem is after a new name. For instance:
    – old-page/(.*)
    – new-page/$1
    It means that the change will be apply and include all pages after the /
    But, I am looking for how to change before the /
    For instance /all-pages-before/contact repalced by /contact.
