Filter products by colour

Dear Madam/Sir,

I’m trying to copy your nice ‘Filter by colour’ sidebar widget: https://woodmart.xtemos.com/shop/

I’ve added a ‘Filter by product attribute’ widget to my ‘shop page widget area’, and set the attribute to ‘colour’.

It shows up in the sidebar and functionality-wise it does what it is supposed to do: filter products by colour. However, the layout doesn’t look like yours, see screenshot attached.

How do I get,
– the empty squares to change into the coloured circles?
– the list of colours to be scrollable, instead of displayed at once
– the number e.g. (2) to be displayed in a circle-ish round like yours?
