it always says “you are logged in as” but then wants me to enter the credentials again or sin up with google or facebook. Its moving in circles. And in the backend no user is ever created.

It seems to be a problem with German market plugin. It has an option that prevents users from logging in if they didn’t check the checkbox or something. Anyway, it seems to influence the default WooCommerce login process and it shouldn’t do it.
