Update Guide for 3.0 ?

    As i see here, there are many issues with the 3.0 Update, but thats usual at such a Major Update. I looked for an Update guide because i think due to changes within the Child Theme, its not enough to only use the Auto Updater, ist that correct?

    So in my Case i use the Child theme with customizations at the functions.php File (in Child). What is the correct way you recommend to Update the Theme, and do i have to Update something in the Child Theme?

    Hi,

    There are no any problems in our new version but it is obvious that if you made some customization in the child theme they may be not compatible. But there is no one general migration guide since it depends on what changes did you make in your child theme. So you will need to review all your changes and check every function in your child theme.

    Hmm, so you recommend to Update the theme as usual and if there are Problems then check what to do to fix them?

    Yes, but we recommend you to make a backup before the update.

    Hahaha i learned the hard way to check (especially Major Updates) first at the Staging Level, but thanks for the Input, it can not be said enough!

    OK, i did the Update at Staging Level right now and most of the things seems to work. I have one Issue that is a bit strange and for what i dont found a solution right now. Alle Links and linked Icons are now Underlined? an you take a look? See the Link in Private Content.

    Problem solved, deleting the Browser Cache was the solution!
